At OneAfricanChild, our work has always centered on equipping young people with the tools, mindset, and opportunities they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. As technology continues to shape education, employment, and innovation globally, access to digital skills is no longer optional, it is now essential. In line with our commitment to empower young people to become global citizens, we are proud to announce a new partnership with Million Coders, a global technology and innovation community working to democratize access to high-quality tech learning and create pathways for young people to participate meaningfully in the digital economy.

Through this collaboration, OneAfricanChild serves as a nominating partner, identifying and supporting learners to access fully sponsored technology education within the Million Coders ecosystem. The program provides participants with free access to tech courses, global certifications through international academic partners, tech events, hackathons, internship pathways, and scholarship opportunities. This initiative also operates under a transparent and impact-driven framework that tracks learner progress and outcomes, ensuring measurable results and long-term opportunity creation.
We are excited to share that Million Coders has selected 20 participants from our community to take part in this pilot training phase. These learners will gain structured access to digital skills development while receiving guidance and support to successfully complete the program. This pilot marks an important step in expanding access to high-quality tech education and advancing our mission to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to shape their own futures.
