Tell us about yourself

My name is Okeowo Segun Daniel from OneAfricanChild (OAC) Kwara State Region. I am the Regional Director for OAC Kwara and work for the HR too. I am a student, self-employed, entrepreneur, educator and humanitarian.
My faith and service to God have been my number one priority in life and my service to humanity.

Passion

I am passionate about seeing changes and great impact around me. My daily quest is to impact life positively. As much as I am trying to be the best in what I do, I try to bring out the best in others. I am a social entrepreneur, an artist, and an educator. I try as much as possible to reflect this to make a change in the world knowing one day we all have all we desire, peace, happiness, wealth, good education, good health, and equality.

Philosophy

I believe life is not about how happy you are but how happy others are because of you.

Inspiration

God is my number one inspiration, then my family, friends and even the little things around me. I believe everyone and everything you come across with is to help you to grow and play an important role in your life whether negatively or positively, so I learn from everyone.

How did you learn about OAC?

I learnt about OAC through OAC Director/Founder, Miss Ibiwoye Victoria.

Reason(s) for joining OAC

Before joining OAC, I have been a giver and I see it as a daily duty to put a smile on someone’s face through giving and being a shoulder they could lean on until I learnt about OAC and the amazing world they are doing, so I thought I could impact more through a larger platform like OAC and connect with lot of change-makers.And it has been an awesome experience.

Experience so far

It has been a great and awesome experience so far with the amazing people and others volunteers. OAC has helped me realize and discover a lot about myself and it has been a great privilege so far.
